摘要 词汇量的大小,对于一个学习者的外语水平有着直接的影响。词汇量不足是学习外语的一大障碍。外语教师的一个重要责任就是要准确把握词汇教学的本质,理解其真正意义之所在,引导和帮助学生有效扩大词汇量,为他们的英语交际打好基础。基于二语习得与心理学相关研究分析目前大学英语词汇教学现状,结合自身教学实践提出相应的教学策略。 The amount of vocabulary exerts a direct influence on a learner's foreign language level.Thus,insufficient vocabulary is a big barrier of foreign language learning.It is one of the most important tasks for college English teachers to grasp the essence and significance of vocabulary teaching and then help students enlarge their vocabulary,which would lays a solid foundation for students' communication skills.Based on the previous researches of SLA and psychology,the paper will give some suggestions on vocabulary teaching strategies after analyzing the status quo of college English vocabulary learning as well as the author's own teaching experience.
