The law clinic system of the U.S. law schools is an advanced legal professional training method which has already been introduced into China. However, the understanding of this system in China’ s legal circle is still on the primary stage. An in-depth study and interpretation of the U.S lawclinic will be of special significance to Chinese law clinic mode. Based on the latest researches of overseas clinics, this article will trace the historical development tide, explore diversified legal fields and activities involved in the system, and summarize the challenges and difficulties that we are facing, so as to provide the latest comparative exploration of Chinese lawclinic mode.
