《南华真经直音》上承《经典释文》,全书主要采用直音法给《庄子》(即《南华真经》)的文字作注,另辅以反切和标注四声等方式注音,是一本主要采取直音法注音的道典音书。全书注字简明,浅近易读,在语音研究上有一定的价值。

Nanhua Zhenjing Zhiyin was following Classical Interpretations and made notes for Zhuangzi(Nanhua Zhenjing) with Zhiyin method directly,then added with Fanqie and four tones,which is a classical Taoist scripture of Zhiyin pronunciation.This book,with simple notes and easy to read,is of some certain value in studying phonetics.
