关于《大元本草》的史料

ON THE CHINESE MATERIA MEDICA OF THE GREAT YVAN DYNASTY

史书中提到过有《大元本草》一书，但具体情况一无所知。新近发现的元末丞相许有壬所写《大元本草序》记载了有关这部书的一些珍贵资料。由序文得知元代编写了两部《大元本草》：一部编于元初，但未完成；一部为元末大夫朱辕编撰，书稿上是太医院，后不知所终。许序即为朱书而作，序中提到了朱书的结构和一些特点。

The Chinese Materia Medica of the Great Yuan Dynasty is referred to in historical documents, but nothing was known about it in the concrete. However, some precious material is put down in the recently discovered Preface to the work written by the prime minister Xu Youren towards the end of the Yuan Dynasty. It is learned from Xu's Preface that there were two editions of the work in the Yuan Dynasty. One was compiled in the early period of the dynasty but left unfinished; the other was compiled by a physician named Zhu Yuan in the final years of the dynasty for presentation to the Imperial Hospital and its fate remains unknown. Mention is made in Xu Youren's Preface about the construction and some characteristics of the edition by Zhu Yuan.
