“刊章”考辨──兼评印刷术起源于东汉说

ON “KAN ZHUANG” ── WITH A DISCUSSION ON THE THEORY OF PRINTING BEING ORIGINATED IN THE EASTERN HAN DYNASTY

该文对《后汉书·党锢传序》中“刊章”一词进行了考辨，认为它与雕板印刷无关，并由此而论证“印刷术起于东汉说”不能成立。

Based on research on the words 'Kan Zhang' in Dang Gu Zhuan Xu in Hou Han Shu (History of the Later Han Dynasty),this paper holds that they have nothing to do with block printing, and expounds and proves that it was quite improbable for printing to be originated in the Eastern Han Dynasty in China.
