The inevitability of walking along the road of the intensive urbanization in Northeast

集约型城市化即基本保持现有城市化指数,充分利用现有城市物质基础,整合城市内部各组成要素,完善城市结构,强化城市内涵和提升城市职能的城市化;东北地区城市化经历了殖民经济时代、计划经济时代、市场经济时代的三个阶段,指数较高,质量亟待提升。基于城市就业、地域空间整合、产业结构调整升级、经济转型四个方面的需求,走集约型城市化道路是振兴东北老工业基地的必然选择。

First,we put forward the definition of the intensive urbanization, which is a process of maintaining the present urbanization index basically, and utilizing the present material base sufficiently, integrating the inner composing factor of the city, improving the structure of the city, intensifying the connotation of the city and upgrading the function of the city. Then reviewing the process of urbanization in the region and rationally analyzing the present level of the urbanization, as well as indicating various problems under the high urbanization index. Also by considering the following four demanding angle, that is the employment in the city, the integration of clime and space, the adjusting and upgrading the industrial structtwe, the transition of the economic mode, and then we bring forward the inevitability of walking along the road of the intensive urbanization.
