The use of “Power Point” electronic lecture notes in teaching is one of the essential means of multi-media teaching. The electronic lecture notes should embody not only the content of the course, but also the teaching idea and the design of teaching method. Page layout can affect teaching directly. In the article, the author first presents the general procedure of designing electronic lecture notes and problems to be noticed, then introduces several commonly-used patterns and approaches to page layout.
