The development of cortical neurons and its underlying molecular mechanism

摘要 在胚胎皮层的发育过程中,神经元及胶质细胞先后由同一先祖细胞分化而来.其中,bHLH(basic helix-loop-helix)转录因子NGN1表达水平的改变可能是前体细胞从神经元发生到胶质细胞发生转变过程中的一个关键因素.此外,转录因子EMX2 、PAX6 、MASH1等也与神经元的表型特化及皮层的区域划分密切相关. During the development of telencephalon, neuons and the subsequent glia differentiate from the same neural stem cells. The expression level of NGN1 , one of the basic helix-loop-helix transcription factors, might play an important role in the transition from neurogenesis to gliogenesis. In addition, other factors, such as EMX2, PAX6 and MASH1 are also involved in the specification and arealization process during corticogenesis.
