台湾高等技职教育的现况、政策与发展

On the Current Status, Policies and Development of Taiwan Higher Technological and Vocational Education

台湾高等教育阶段的学校类型仍延续中等教育的双轨制,分为学术及技职两类.技职系统的高等教育(本文称为高等技职教育)涵盖有科技大学、技术学院及专科学校.近年来,台湾高等技职学校大幅扩增,引发学生素质降低及招生来源不足,且与一般大学间的分际愈趋模糊等问题.在未来的发展中,台湾高等技职教育一方面需就学校立场考虑未来的发展规划,另一方面则需就台湾发展立场考虑整体产业结构的人才需求.

Taiwai higher education is still taking “dual system”,which includes academic education and vocational education. The higher technological and vocational education system consists of science and technology universities, polytechnics and speciality colleges. The enrollment expansion of Taiwan higher technological and vocational education in recents years results in students＇ lower quality, and vague difference between various types of education.The author sugguested that Taiwan higher technological and vocational schools should make developing plans according to their own characteristics and Taiwan industrial structure.
