According to the cracking question produced in asphalt pavement with semi-rigid base for high-grade highway , this paper discusses the cause of formation of temperature shrinkage cracking and reflecting cracking. This paper also discusses the prevention treatment measures of crosswise cracking in asphalt layer materials, cohesion between the layers and construction and maintenance of semi-rigid base.
