近代上海外滩空间变迁之动因分析

Analysis of vicissitude of the Bund space in modern Shanghai

针对近代上海外滩形成过程中几个关键而长久并未得到重视的问题展开讨论,其中包括公私领域、华洋竞争两方面与空间形态的关系.首先通过对沿江土地所有者、非沿江租地人、外侨管理者以及华人政府的利益所在、采取措施及其后果的剖析来论述外滩公私领域的范围、边界变迁之动因及其对空间形态的影响;并论述了在外滩历次的空间尺度变化中华洋竞争所起到的作用,其中包括土地章程、贸易活动、外滩花园建设等影响因素.

Several key factors that had very important influences on the development of the bund of modern Shanghai are discussed, which include the function of the public space and the contest of locals and foreigners. First this paper analyzes the interests and actions of four groups of the inhabitant in the settlement： land renter along the Bund, land renter off the bund, the municipality and the Chinese government which have a great impact on the confines of public spaces and private spaces along the Bund. Then this paper discusses the influence of the contest of locals and foreigners including the outcome of the land regulations, the trade activity and the construction of the Public Garden, which also were the key factors of the vicissitude of the Bund space.
