On the Innovation and Development of the Trade Union Work under the New Situation

在市场经济的新形势下,工会工作必须与时俱进,融入中心。要在推进企业改革上有新进展;要在深化民主管理上有新突破;要在开展“创争”活动上有新起色;要在实施创新工程上有新作为;要在加强基层建设上有新成效。只有这样,才能适应改革发展新形势的要求。

Under the new situation of market economy, the trade union work must keep abreast with the times. Headway must be made in promoting enterprise reform and furthering democratic management; new progress must be made in “Striving for Better” movement; new achievement must be made in carrying out innovative projects and strengthening grassroots orgavizations. Only by doing so can the requirements of the new situation of reform anti opening-up be met.
