Quality Observations on the Commercial Turtle Shell

目的通过测定市售鳖甲钙及蛋白(氮)含量,考察商品鳖甲的质量。方法鳖甲骨钙的测定采用乙二胺四醋酸二钠滴定的方法,蛋白(氮)含量采用定氮分析法。结果骨钙测定方法的精密度RSD=1.3%(N=5);平均回收率98.7%,RSD=1.2%(N=5);结论不同来源的鳖甲样品骨钙含量及蛋白(氮)含量差别很大,表明市售药材的质量区别很大。

objective The purpose is to inspect the quality of the commercial turtle shell through tesing its skeletal calcium content and protein content. Methods To test the skeletal calcium content by means of dropping EDTA- 2Na and the protein content by means of nitrogen. Rseults The precision of the calclum test is RSD- 1.3% （N= 5） ,average rate of reclamation is 98.7% ,RSD= 1.2% （N = 5）. Conclusion Different sorts of turtle shell have different contents of skeletal calclum and protein. It shows there is a big difference on medication quality in the market.
