Ingenious and Vivid Bamboo Patterns--He Shuquan and Zhou Dongping

踱步在一个个展位之间，一片麦穗般的金黄色突然吸引了我，走上一看，红毯上林立着用竹杆捂建的十几件气势浩然的宫阙、楼船、长桥。

He Shuquan and Zhou Dongping are two amateur hobbyists of bamboo modeling. They have set up a workshop named°∞Ancient River Boat°±and specialized in making various models of palaces, storeyed boats, long bridges, etc. with bamboos. They have worked in co-operation for 20 years and the ancient boats and palaces they have made are based on the accounts in old books, the blueprints they have made and the number of parts and measurements they have accurately worked out. He Shuquan who is an electrician by trade has even developed an original approach by inserting colored bulbs into bamboo models.
