利用临界点指数I(f,)a(即f在a的Hessian矩阵的负特征值的个数)来判断函数f的临界点a的类型,从而对函数的鞍点也可进行分类,并对定理1和2的内在联系作了讨论,给出了判断临界点类型的例子.

The purpose of this paper is to utilize critical point index I（f, a） （ that is to say, “f”is a total of negative feature value of Hessian matrix in“a”）to judge the specific type of “a”in f＇s critical point in order to classify the saddle - point of function, disscuss internal relations of theoren 1 and theorem 2 and give some example for judging the type of critical point.
