Several methods are proposed to shorten the time of peer review by analyzing the important factors in the process of review and their characteristics. These methods include： continuously enriching the database of experts, fast and accurately completing the editors＇ initial evaluation, timely and correctly choosing the peer reviewers, reminding and chasing the reviewers when the review time is due, and sending back the review results to the author（s） as soon as possible.
