This paper analyzes the advantages of AutoCAD 2004 as a platform of urban management system. As a plat form of the planning management system, AutoCAD 2004 has the problem in the storage of attribute data and spatial data. The general scheme of data storage is put forward based on it. Finally, tile example related to the urban planning management illustrates the application of data storage scheme.
