摘要
基于拓展带宽的设计方法,提出一种适于OBS的交流耦合突发模式光接收机设计方法.分析与仿真证明该方法有效地降低由交流耦合电容引入的功率代价,并降低系统对信号频谱中低频成分的限制.在1.25Gb/s的信道速率下,本设计在300ns内实现信道同步,并达到很好的灵敏度指标,打破了交流耦合突发接收机在高速应用中的局限.
A novel design method of ac-coupled burst mode optical receiver (BMOR) is investigated for optical burst switching (OBS). The receiver has a simplest configuration of a PIN-TIA preamplifier, an ac-coupling capacitor, and a limiting amplifier. Both theoretical analysis and experimental results prove it to be a feasible method to reduce power penalty caused by the ac-coupling capacitor. Under the data rate of 1.25Gb/s,the BMOR can restore the burst within 300ns with high sensitivity. The design method breaks the limitation of ac-coupled BMOR in high speed applications.
