Flow to be a competent spokesperson of the Pearl River and how to build up a green Pearl River need to study and define a series of “green”indexes the connotation of which is quite rich. Viewed from ecologic water demands indexes, the author probes into some basic concepts and basic research methods and takes 3 major tributaries of the West River as case study.
