摘要
一般说来,英语专业口语课大都由外籍教师担任。地方院校英语专业学生在开设了两年的口语课后口头表达能力仍然提高不大,究其原因,有教师素质、生源质量、重视程度、教学内容、教学形式、语言环境和学生心理等方面的因素。针对这些问题,结合学院、教师、学生等各方面的具体情况提出切实可行的对应措施。
Generally speaking, oral English class for English-majors is taken by foreign teachers. But English majors in local col1eges have not improved their speaking ability after two years' oral English class. The main reasons are: teachers' poor quality, new comers' low English proficiency, inappropriate teaching content and form, lack of English environment and students' psychological factors. It is also concerned with the degree of attention from various parts. To solve these problems, teachers, students, as well as collegiate administrators, must work together and take some countermeasures suggested in this paper.
