This paper introduces structure and feature of remote concentrated copy meter system, explains the status of remote concentrated copy meter technology from the aspects of watt-hour meter, collector, concentrator and communication channel, points out developing direction and research hot-spot in aspect of electric power line carrier-current communication, radio spread spectrum communication, composite communication and automatic copy meter.
