摘要
Vacancy data is the key indicator to reflect the equilibrium of supply and demand and the efficiency of resource allocation in housing market. However, China’s current housing vacancy indicator system lack sufficient theoretical foundation, and has large difference comparing to other countries.Such system has been unable to present the real situation of housing vacant and market condition accurately.This paper defines the concept of vacancy and vacancy rate from the point of view of real estate economics firstly.And then several problems in China’s current housing vacancy indicator system are analyzed, through a comparison analysis among America,Japan,Singapore,Hong Kong and Taiwan.To be concluded,this paper gives several suggestions in terms of establishing a new system and its implementation.
