EPS铸造粘结剂的研制及性能

摘要 EPS溶液经乳化改性后得到了一种新型铸造粘结剂.因为EPS分子量大、极性小、内聚力强,如果直接用溶液作粘结剂,则粘结力和附着力差.选择极性强的溶剂,引入活性基团,可提高粘结力和附着力.通过试验对EPS粘结剂的强度、流动性、发气性、溃散性、可使用时间等进行了测定,结果表明:当EPS粘结剂加入量为2.5%~4%时,干压强度就可达0.8~1 MPa,型砂的溃散性较好,可使用时间超过3 h.由于EPS乳液是水溶性的,因此EPS砂易于回用,具有一定的再生能力.选用最佳的工艺配比.浇注试验表明EPS粘结剂应用效果好,并在改善操作环境、节约能源、提高生产效率方面都有很好的效果. A new casting bonding was developed by modifying EPS solution. Because EPS has high molecular weight, low polarity and strong cohesion, the cohesive strength is low if the EPS solution is directly used as casting bonding. By selecting the high polarity solution, the cohesive strength of EPS can be improved. The bonding cohesive strength, collapsibility, capability of fluxion were tested in this investigation, the result shows that when the content of EPS bonding is within 2.5 96~4 96, the dry press strength of molding sand is 0.8~1 MPa, the collapsibility is good, the useful time is more then 3 hours. Because the solution is water-soluble, the molding sand is easy to be regenerated. The test of pouring shows that this bonding had a smooth casting surface and is worthy of application.
