脑转移性肿瘤的放射治疗

Radiation therapy for cerebral metastases

本文作者对24例脑转移瘤病人作了全脑放射治疗，可评价的20例病人，中位生存期为7．3个月，较文献报道脑转移瘤病人从发生颅脑症状至死亡平均在1．6个月的自然过程有了明显的延长。结果表明：放射治疗能明显缓解症状，延长患者的生存期，提高生存质量，是一种安全、有价值的治疗方法。

From January 1988 to December 1993, 24 patients with cerebral metas tases were treated by radiotherapy. The radiatlon respones rate was 70%. The me dian survival of radiotherapy was 7. 3 months. We believe that it is advisable to treat patients with cerebral metastases with combined radiation of the whole brain to a dose of 30-40GY/3-4 weeks with chemotherapy including CCNU or BCNU. In this way, the quality of survival may be improved and survial time prolonged.
