The Competitiveness Appraising of Transport & Communications Industry in Hubei Province

建立了交通运输设备制造业产业竞争力评价指标体系,运用主成分分析法对2003年全国各省市交通运输设备制造业的发展状况作出综合评价,得出湖北交通运输设备制造业竞争力排名。通过比较分析,总结该产业的特点并指出其中存在的主要问题,在此基础上给出相关政策建议。

Industry＇s competitiveness evaluation index system of manufacturing industry for transport and communications was set up. Using principal component analysis to make comprehensive appraisal on the state of development of the manufacturing industry for transport and communications of the provinces and cities in the whole country of 2003, and getting the competitiveness rank of equipment manufacture of Hubei. Through comparison and analysis, the characteristic of this industry was summarized and the subject matter that exists among them was pointed out. Some relevant policy recommendations on this basis were provided as well.
