晚清时期,随着我国从传统农业社会向现代工商社会的过渡,市场经济有了前所未有的发展。与此相适应,晚清人士提出了许多发展市场经济的思想观念。这些观念主要体现在以下几个方面:重视发展商业,发展中外贸易,实行资本主义工业化,建立现代金融体系,改造自给自足的传统农业。

With the transition from traditional agriculture to modem commercial society in the late Qing Dynasty, people put forward a lot of economic views to retrieve the fate of the nation, These views mainly included development of commerce and foreign trade, industrialization of capitalism, establishment of modern financial system, and reform of the self-sufficient traditional agriculture.
