Brief Report on Excavation of the Longwangmiao Site in Badong, Hubei

巴东县龙王庙是巫峡口的一处临江台地遗址,发掘共分三个点.其中两个点发现遗迹遗物,一个点在江边沙地,T1312中出土400余件商周时期石器;另一点在台地上,第7层有少量春秋遗物,可辨器形有盆、罐、釜、豆、鼎、鬲、甗等,4～6层揭示了清代中后期龙王庙址的多种遗迹现象,有房基、暗沟、柱洞、石板路等.

Longwangmiao, situated at mouth of wuxia at Badong county, a platform site, was excavated in three places. However, only from two places were some remains unearthed. Over 400 Shang and Zhou dynasty stones were found while some remains at the platform, including the Spring and Autumn period objects in the 7th layer, such as basin, pot, dou, ill, ding, li, yan et, and the middle and the late Qing dynasty remains in the 4th-6th layer, such as house foundation, underground ditch, pillar hole, stone-board road and so on.
