景观生态学为景观及城市规划提供了一个新的思维模式———景观生态规划。它是在追求“秩序”和生态适应性的经典规划和生态规划方法论之上的又一次思维转变。它的产生是社会发展的需要,也是科学发展及对大地结构和功能认识的深入的必然。

Landscape ecology has offered a new thinking pattern for landscape and city planning the ecological planning of landscape, that is, an other thinking change with the methodology based on the classical planning and the ecological planning, which is seeking for order and the ecological adaptability. Its emerging is the need of social development and the neeessity of seientifie development and further cognition of the earth ＇ s structure and functions.
