扁蓿豆属植物在内蒙古主要分布于中东部地区。分布区年降水量为２５０～４５０ｍｍ，≥１０℃的积温为１４００～３０００℃，湿润度为０．２～０．８。该属的一个正种和三个变种各有其分布特点。
