抗气胀病苜蓿育种研究进展

Progress of Research on Breeding Bloat-sare Alfalfa

消除反刍家畜气胀病威胁，提高苜蓿草地生产力，是世界各国苜蓿育种家共同关注的问题。用无气胀病苜蓿品种取代目前生产上使用的老品种，这是未来发展的必然趋势。半个世纪以来，在气胀病机理和抗气胀病苜蓿育种研究领域，虽然不同学者从饲料角度对气胀病成因提出了几个重要观点和研究方法，尤其是加拿大著名苜蓿育种家Ｂ．Ｐ．Ｇｏｐｌｅｎ博士与其合作者在抗气胀病苜蓿育种方面已取得重要进展，但至今各国都没有解决苜蓿气胀病问题。

liminating ruminant bloat and increasing preductivity of alfalfa pastures are concernedin common by alfalfa breeders in the world.It is an inevitable tendency that uses a bloat-safe alfalfa cuItivar instead of the old one in the future。At present,the progress hasbeen made in the research field of the cause of alfalfa bloat.But to date,alfafa bloatingis not solved in the world.Based on date available,authors briefly review the mainpoints of view and research methods on the cause of alfalfa bloating in the recent half acentury, especially,the great progress of breeding bloat-safe alfalfa has been made byCanadian famous breeder Dr. B. P. Goplen and his colleague.
