卦象说初探

A tentative research on the images of Yi

象是象效易学的一个重要范畴,爻象、卦象是解易的重要工具之一。卦象不仅是理解《周易》卦爻辞的根本,也是春秋筮法占断的主要依据。从春秋时期《左传》、《国语》简单的卦象,到战国时期《易传》稍具形态的卦象说,再到汉代繁杂的逸象说,卦象说的形成经历了一个漫长的历史过程,并在不同时期对易学的发展产生了不同的影响.

Image is an important category in the image-numberology in the Yi （the Book of Changes） studies. And the images of lines and hexagrams form one of the important tools by which to interpret the Yi. The images of hexagrams constitute not only the foundation for us to comprehend the hexagram and line＇s texts but also the basis in divination in the Spring and Autumn period. From the simple images mentioned in Zuo Zhuan, Zuo＇s Commentaries on the Spring and Autumn Annals, and Gu yu, Remarks of the Monarchs in the Spring and Autumn period, to the initial theories of images conceived in Yi Zhuan in the Warring States period, to the abundant images in the Han Dynasty, the theories of images in the Yi studies experienced a long historical process and exerted different influences upon the development of the Yi studies in different periods.
