A pulse generator used for extracting ions and electrons in time-of-flight mass spectrometer is reported. The range of pulse amplitude generated by the pulse generator is 0~?000V with rise rime less than 50ns and fall time less than 100ns. The pulse repetition frequency is variable from 0 to 50kHz. Various pulse wareform output modes are available.
