Using NaCl instead of KBr as dispersing medium of solid samples in IR spectrometry

用廉价的分析纯NaCl代替光谱纯KBr作为红外光谱分析的固体样品压片的分散介质.两者的空白和实际样品的红外光谱基本相同.适当增加压片厚度,可克眼NaCl压片易碎的弱点.

The IR spectra of blank and sample of NaCl are basically identical with those of KBr, but Nad (AR) is cheaper than KBr. Thus the NaCl instead of KBr can be used as dispersing medium of solid samples in IR spectrometry. The fragileness of NaCl can be overcome by increasing the thickness of NaCl plate.
