In this paper, the roles and actions of the wastage quota in the account of cost evaluation of projects＇ quantity were expatiated. Furthermore.the main contents and features of the new edited wastage quota of building construction engineering were briefly introduced. The commons and differences between the old wastage quota and the new edited wastage quota were finally compared and analyzed.
