Suffix huà and huà-Suffixed Words

“化”是个能产性很强的词缀,化缀词是很有特色的词。“化”的粘附能力很强,它可与诸多的实词或词组粘附。各种类型的“化”缀词,据其虚化程度可以分为准虚化的“化”缀词和虚化的词缀“化”。“化”缀词的反义构成中,有特点的是语义反义词和语境反义词。化缀词的政论性语体色彩主要表现为:揭示事物发展的说理性,阐释论题信度的逻辑性,表现事物状态的缜密性。

“huà” （-ize,-ify） is a suffix of high productivity, huà-suffixed words are abundant in their distinguishing features, huà has a strong adhesion force; it can be adhered to many a notional word or phrase. According to their syncategorematic degree, various kinds of huà-suffixed words fall into the two categories of quasi-syncategorematic huà-suffixed words and syncategorematic suffixes of huà. In building antonymous hurt-suffixed words, semantic and contextual antonyms are of characteristics. The expressions of the political-comment stylistic colour of huà-suffixed word are： reasoning things out to disclose the development of things, the logic in expounding the confidence of the thesis, and the meticulocity in showing the state of things.
