多维视野中的“一孔之见”——答朱宗震先生

A Peephole View in a Wide Field of Vision

朱宗震先生对拙著《近代江南乡村地权的历史人类学研究》的批评,主要集中在两点,一是说理论追求太过完美,以致经验研究相对单薄;二是在方法论层面有“盲目排斥百家、独尊人类学一术”之嫌。我承认我的研究确实存在朱先生所说的第一点缺陷,但也可以解释成学术创新的努力目标未能在实证研究中得到全面落实。至于第二点,我恰恰是开放式地吸收社会史、经济史、政治史、文化史和法律史等多学科的方法论,而不是狭隘地固守人类学学科本位。

Professor Zongzhen Zhu＇s criticizing my work Historical Anthropology on Rural Land Rights in Modem Jiangnan, is mainly tow points, the first one is that my theoretical goal is too perfect to attain, the other is that I would rather stick to anthropology than adopt the other subjects. I approve basically the first one. As for the second point, I prefer absorbing the other methodologies such as social history, economic history and so on to defending tenaciously anthropology.
