The molecular behavior of the substituted fullerene 1,3,6,11,13,18,28,31-octabromofullerene(C_(60)Br_8) on the air-water interface is described. It is shown that the highquality LB films of the compound can be constructed onto a variety of solid substrates.An ESR observation exhibits a signal with g=2.002 4 and ΔH=2×10 ̄(-4) T due to C60+Electronic absorption spectra show several strong hands from 224 to 570 nm,the maximum hand is at the position of 570 nm,The electrical conductivity studies suggest that the conductivity is dependent on the layer numbers of LB film and temperature.The thermal activation energy is 0.285 eV.
