Preparation method of catalyst PdCl 2 CuCl 2/sepiolite was described and catalytic behaviour of the catalyst for oxidization of liquid benzene to phenol was studied. The results showed that phenol yield increased with the increase of reaction time, had a maximum value at reaction temperature of 40℃, and increased with the increase of components PdCl 2 and sepiolite. The catalytic mechanism was explored preliminarily.
