Urban traffic mixed flow is the widespread characteristics of transportation in developing countries. Its forming process has deeper historical background, humane background and economic background. This paper analyzes the formation of the mixed traffic flow, and considers that the primary task of solving the mixed traffic flow is to solve the phenomenon of the pedestrian mixing with the vehicles and motor vehicles mixing non - motorized vehicles. Finally, some recommendations of solving the mixed traffic flow are put forward.
