But What's the Changed Name for? A Comparative Research on the Names of Universities in China

大学校名是一所学校的招牌,更是大学理念的体现,对一所大学的发展有着重要的影响。通过对近年来中国高校更名现象的反思,对我国大学校名进行了比较研究,分析更名的原因并提出了几点建议。

The name of a university is not only the symbol of a school, but the embodiment of the idea of the university. It plays a significant role in the development of the university. This article makes a comparative study on the names of universities, by rethinking about the recent name-changing phenomena of some Chinese universities. The thesis also analyses the possible reasons for changing school names and at last puts forward some pieces of suggestions.
