生态伦理学是20世纪中叶出现的一门新兴学科,它要得以确立必须寻找到自身的思想和文化基础。西方的"主客二分"造成了今天严重的生态危机,为此一些西方学者把新视野转向东方,认为中国传统文化中的天人合一思想可以解决今天的生态危机,拯救人类。但"天人合一"也有其自身的消极因素,因此必须批判地继承和吸收天人合一思想。同时,开展与西方文化的对话和交流,在超越传统主客二分和天人合一思想的基础上建立现代意义上的天人合一思想,为生态伦理学的构建提供丰富的思想资料。

Ecological ethics is a new subject appearing in the middle of the 20th century. If the ecological ethics needs being established, people must find its own basis of thinking and culture. The faulty of the west culture leaded to today＇s ecological crisis. For this, some learners turn to the east and think the east culture of union between heaven and man may solve the crisis, but the thinking of union between heaven and man has in itself some negative factors, So we must critically inherit and absorb the thought and launch dialogue and communication with the west culture, construct the modern thinking of union between heaven and man on the basis of surmounting tradition thinking of part between subject and object and union between heaven and man, and provide abundant thinking for the establishment of ecological ethics.
