Manifestation of MAO Ze-dong's Culture-consciousness

毛泽东没有明确提出文化自觉的概念,但他主张:批判地继承中国传统文化,批判地吸收外国文化,建设新民主主义的文化,建设社会主义文化。这对于有中国特色社会主义文化建设有重要意义。

Although MAO Ze-dong did not put forward the concept of culture-consciousness, he maintained that traditional Chinese culture must be inherited and foreign culture be assimilated in a critical way and new democratic and socialist culture be constucted.
