On Self-respect Education for Adolescents

自爱是人的基础性美德,是当前未成年人思想道德教育的一项内容,它关涉到对人的生命实体之爱和精神人格之爱。自爱与爱人是相互依存、共生共长的。自爱教育既是一种主体参与式的道德教育,也是一种对已对人积极负责任的教育。

Self-respect is the human＇s basic virtue; it is also one of important parts in minor＇s ideological and moral education. Self-respect involves the love of humans for the life and spiritual dignity. To love and to be loved is complementary and live and grow together. Aiming at the teenagers＇ neglect of self-respect awareness, this paper proposes the self-respect education and cultivation of self-respect character.
