Application of Leased Line MODEM in Long-Range Communication System

目前远程视频监控系统已经成为计算机监控系统的重要分支。国内外现有的远程监控系统大多基于光纤,而光纤如果遇到机械冲击、碰撞等都会造成光缆断缆或断芯,光缆断裂后,很难快速修复,且修复设备复杂,普通用户根本无法进行焊接修复,再加上光端机价格较高,这些都限制了光纤远程监控系统的应用和普及。为此,人们找到了价格相对便宜、维护十分简单的极低比特率双绞线解决方案。文中以基于MODEM专线方式的远程视频监控系统为例,介绍经济、实用且具有广播能力的远程网络摄像机系统。

The long-range video supervision system has become important branch of computer supervisory control system at present. The now available long-range supervision system at home and abroad is based on the optical fiber mostly, and if the optical fiber runs into the machinery lashes and collions optical fiber must split or break. Once splitted, it＇s hard to be restored because of the sophisticated equipment, and ordinary user can＇t restore it by means of the welding at all. Moreover the high price of light transmitter and light receiver limits the popularization in application. In order to solve this problem, a solution of using the long-range supervision system transmitting on the twisted-pair at an extreme low-bit rate with less cost was found. The article aims to introduces a twisted-pair net camera system at an extreme low-bit rate based on leased line MODEM. This practical and economical, long-range net camera system possesses broadcasting ability.
