Shi Tie-sheng＇s writing experiences have gone through three developing stages from passive writing, passionate recollection to anxious speculation, which developed with the writer＇s own understanding of life and the nature of literature. By classifying the subject matters of his works in these three stages, the development of his state of mind in writing is explored.
