Thoughts on Chinese Classical Aesthetics from the Viewpoint of Linguistic Philosophy

主要从语言哲学的角度对中国古典美学“得意忘象”、“得象忘言”的美学观进行探讨,认为中国古代始终是从语言的功能性和对这种功能的局限性上把握语言的,注重语言和现实生活世界的真实联系。

This paper discusses the aesthetic view of “forgetting the image at the acquisition of true sense” ;“forgetting the language at the acquisition of the image” in Chinese classical aesthetics from the viewpoint of linguistic philosophy. The author holds that in ancient china scholars persistently mastered the language through its function and the limits of the function while attaching importance to the link between language and the real world.
