论诗歌中的含蓄

On the implication of poems

从一定意义上说,含蓄是一切诗歌最重要的价值。创作中的凝缩,欣赏中的扩展,是一切诗歌话语在“听—说”过程中达成含蓄的共同途径。与此同时,对中国传统诗歌而言,含蓄的底蕴是温柔敦厚,这是礼乐传统赋予含蓄的民族内容。

In a certain sense, implication is the most value of all poems. The concentration in composition and expansion in appreciation are the common approach in which all poems realize implication in the “listening-speaking” process. At the same time, the content of implication is gentle and sincere, which is national content imparted by the traditional rites and music.
