A Comparison of the InaccurateNews Report Between China and the West

新闻应当真实是全世界新闻界的共识,然而,在实际新闻工作中,中西方都出现了新闻失实的现象。中西方新闻界产生新闻失实的原因既有共同的地方也有不同之处。因而遏制与防治新闻失实的措施亦有同有异。因此,要正确对待新闻失实现象,借鉴西方新闻界的经验,寻找适合我国实情的抑制新闻失实的途径。

The fact that news report should be true is the common sense of the whole world press fields. However, in practice there exist a lot of inaccurate news reports in China and in the West. The paper has a try to analyze the causes of the phenomenon in details and to suggest the solutions to prevent it from rising up depending upon the different cultural and political hackgrounds, and finally it emphasizes that Chinese news reportersmust take it serious and find a suitable way to hold back inaccurate news report on the basis on China＇s own characteristics and the comparison withthe West＇s experience.
