This paper probes into problem of how the library of the public security university upgraded from the college to serve the major subjects, to strengthen the literature guaranteeing ability for the major subjects, and to provide the individualized and high-level information service for the major subjects for the purpose of meeting the needs of the construction and the development of the major subjects.
