中国大学生与留美中国大学生民族精神之调查

A Study of Chinese National Spirit of Chinese College Students and Chinese Overseas Students in the U.S.

通过问卷的方式,对200名国内大学生及留美中国大学生对于中华民族精神的理解及实践状况进行了调查。问卷数据间的比较发现,两组受试对传统民族精神的理解和实践状况趋同,均热爱中华民族,崇尚中华传统美德,但常常缺乏民族使命感。而在当代民族精神新元素的理解和实践上,留美大学生较国内大学生表现出对他人更多的人文关怀,更加崇尚人与自然的和谐关系,但是在生活工作中显示出实用主义态度。本调查对我国高校思想教育的建议是:科学引导,理清价值观念;创新教育内容,继续加强人文素质教育。

This paper Studies the Chinese national spirit of Chinese college students and Chinese overseas students in the U.S. Through the questionnaire study of 200 students home and abroad, the author finds the subjects have a strong passion for their motherland, adore the traditional Chinese culture, but sometimes lack the sense of responsibility for their nation. By comparison, the overseas students show more concern to others, and pay more attention to the harmonious relationship between human beings and nature. However, pragmatism becomes the major principle of their life. Hereby, the author suggests the educationists in Chinese colleges and universities should innovate their education contents and provide enlightening guidance to help the students identify and practice Chinese national spirit.
